July 31, 2016 Our itinerary: Sioux Falls to Minneapolis, to Fairbanks, AK. The land tour started at Fairbanks, it included: the area area around Fairbanks, Denali National Park, Mt Mckinley, Alaska State Park and the town of Talkeetna. On Saturday, August 6, we traveled by train to Wittier arriving in Wittier in the evening and boarded the ship.
