Here are the latest photographs of Lavonne's flower gardens.
The following set of photographs were taken between August 24th and the 27th.
This is a Giant Hibiscus. These blossoms are about eight inches (20 cm.) across. Once the blossoms open they only last about 24 hours.
This sunflower is at the front of the garage. It is a volunteer that is in full display. Lavonne refers to this as a suprise blossom.
These flowers are on the right side of the front step.
The Pinky Winkies have turned from white to pink. To see the earlier white form scroll down and look at the photographs taken on July 18 and July 25.
Here is a photograph of the soutn end of the deck. Lavonne has a few flowers on the deck as well.
July 29, 2015: Below are three photographs of Lavonne's flowers at the mailbox. The main flowers are Black Eyed Susans, Purple Cone Flowers (This variety is white.) and Moss Roses. Moss Roses do very well in the hot direct sun.
July 25, 2015: The first two photographs are of Snowball Hydrangias. This year the largest blooms are 12 inches (30 cm.) across. The last is of a Pinky Winky, not yet turning pink.
