FREE CALLING FEATURES FOR SWIFTEL CUSTOMERS

CALL WAITING
A beep alerts you to an incoming call.
1.    To end the first call, hang up. Your phone will ring with the second call.
2.    To keep the existing call, press & release the switch hook* quickly for the second caller.
3.    To toggle between calls, repeat step 2.

CALL FORWARDING
Transfers calls where you can be reached.
1.    Dial 72 #  (Rotary dial 1172)
2.    Dial the forwarding number. Call Forwarding is complete when answered.
3.    No answer or busy, repeat steps 1-2. Two tones will confirm activation.
4.    To cancel, dial 73# (Rotary dial 1173, wait five seconds). Two tones will confirm cancellation.
NOTE:  You will be billed long-distance charges for calls forwarded to long-distance numbers.

3-WAY CALLING
Sets up a conference call with 2 parties.
1.    Dial the number of first party.
2.    After answer, press switch hook*. You will hear 3 tones, then dial tone.
3.    Dial second party. After answer, press, release switch hook*.  Everyone is on line.
4.    No answer or busy on second party? Press, release switch hook* to rejoin first caller.
*Some phones have a “Flash” or  “Link” button. Use in place of switch hook in above directions.

PER CALL CALLER (ID Block)
Prevents your phone number from being displayed to the person receiving your call.
1.    Pick up handset & listen for dial tone.
2.    Press *67. (Rotary dial 1167).
3.    Dial the number you are calling.
4.    Assuming the person you called has CALLER ID, they will see a “P” or the word  “Private” on their display.

PER CALL CALLER (ID Unblock)
Allows your unpublished or unlisted number to be displayed to the person receiving your call.
1.    Pick up handset & listen for dial tone.
2.    Press *82.
3.    Dial the number you are calling.
4.    Assuming the person you called has CALLER ID, they will see your number on their display.
