Season Tickets on-sale August 28, single tickets September 4th ($35/$30/$20). November 6th, brings another musician to the Woodbine stage from the familiarity of your television screen, as Mandy Harvey, of “America’s Got Talent” fame brings her ukulele, jazz vocals, original and familiar tunes and her indomitable spirit to Brookings. Known for winning the “golden buzzer” from AGT host, Simon Cowell, in 2017, Mandy is an American jazz singer and songwriter; she is also deaf.
At the age of 18, and in the midst of pursuing a degree in vocal music education at Colorado State University, Mandy lost her residual hearing due to a neurological disorder and left the program. Though her hearing loss is profound, her timing, pitch and passion are perfect. This is why the media, including NBC Nightly News, Forbes Magazine and others have taken notice. Woodbine Productions is thrilled to bring a musician of Mandy’s accomplishment and personal journey to Brookings. With three jazz recordings to her credit, and multiple national awards for inspiring others, Mandy promises an evening of outstanding music and the ability to inspire others to embrace when life brings seemingly insurmountable obstacles. $35/$30/$20
