The Brookings Convention & Visitors Bureau are thrilled for another summer of Downtown at Sundown, click on this link to see the whole line-up of bands playing! This FREE weekly music series features face painting, inflatables, bag toss, family fun, LIVE music and more! Bring your friends downtown every Thursday night for summer fun, cold drinks, and a lively atmosphere anyone can enjoy. We’ll be on 5th street between Wooden Legs Brewing Co. and The Brookings Register, as we kick off the series on July 13 and keep the music coming until we close on August 24.. The evening starts off with local acts, followed by regional musicians playing everything from the latest country and rock, to throw-back tunes everyone will enjoy.
We’d also like to extend a HUGE thank you to the City of Brookings for making this dream a reality! In addition, thank you to Perry Electric for their help in powering this event and the Swiftel Center for providing a little extra muscle.
Downtown at Sundown is looking for volunteers to help assist with the festival. Volunteers will assist with set up, tear down, general maintenance, and help staff. If you’re interested in signing up, contact Bridgit.
Downtown at Sundown is looking to add more retail vendors to the festival. By signing up to be a part of the shenanigans, you’ll be putting your business in front of an average weekly attendance of 848 people, with more than 390,000 combined print and social impressions. Vendors also have the opportunity to co-op with up to three different businesses. If you’re interested in becoming a retail vendor, contact Emily.
