“As I work with individuals and teams across campus, a common feeling I encounter is that there is never enough time to do everything we want to do. How can we get our work done and also make time to improve our work? How can we find time to explore innovative opportunities and strategize? Learn how to apply Lean Continuous Improvement principles to your individual work using mini-experiments to allow you to bring some control to your day.”
Becky Degen, Director of Continuous Improvement at South Dakota State University, offers lean leadership training and facilitates continuous improvement projects across campus and provides outreach with various organizations within South Dakota. Her office’s purpose is to educate, empower and experiment using lean continuous improvement principles to help the individual and the organization.
