The Brookings Summer Arts Festival brings more than 200 artists from across the nation, representing 15 disciplines of art. As many as 40+ gourmet and ethnic food booths satisfy every hungry appetite. Historic and antique booths celebrate South Dakota while the children’s area provides fun and educational activities. The entire community gets involved at the festival as Pioneer Park is transformed into an outdoor gallery showcasing the very best of regional and national artists and skilled craftsmen.
Saturday – 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Sunday – 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Handicap parking is available on the east side of the park at 2nd Avenue and 5th Street and at the south gate on Western Avenue. Gate attendant will direct drivers.
- Public parking is available on side streets and public parking lots downtown, as well as localized pay-to-park lots north and northwest of festival. United Living Center, at 4th Street and 1st Avenue, also has a pay-to-park lot.
- Shuttle buses from the South Dakota Agriculturual Heritage Museum on North Medary Avenue and 11th Street will run continuously during the festival.
- No pets allowed, unless they are working service animals.
